M. Landry

M. Dean Landry, 86, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014. A native of Crossett, AR and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Dean retired as a Registered Nurse after 50 years of service. She enjoyed playing bridge, flower gardening, animals and dearly loved her family and friends. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Dean is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Landry, Sr. daughter, Sara Beth Rusti Hiatt White stepson, Ronald J. Landry, Jr. brothers, Jerry Don Evans and wife Virginia, and Douglas Sims Evans and wife Pat daughterinlaw, Paige Hiatt and grandchildren, Scott Benson and wife Elizabeth, Blake Hiatt, Rylan Dean Hiatt, Jessica LeSaicherre, Caroline Landry, Phillip Landry, Andrew Landry, Jessie Anthony, Justin Landry, Jennifer Anthony and Courtney Anthony 11 greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father, James Milton Middlebrooks mother, Willie Morris Jeffcoats Middlebrooks Evans stepfather, Joseph Carl Evans sister, Marcielle Pruitt daughter, Susan Anne Hiatt son, Brett Allen Hiatt infant son, George W. Hiatt III stepchildren, Mike Landry, Linda Landry, and Larry Landry and first husband, George Walter Hiatt, Jr. Visiting will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Monday, March 17, 2014 from 5 pm to 8 pm and will resume on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon Lane, from 9:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am, conducted by Reverend Jerry Martin.
