The Lord Jesus prayed, “Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given me, be with me where I am, so that they may see my glory which You have given me, for You loved me before the foundation of the world.” John 17:24.
Lynda Jane Liverman, 81, went home to be with her Lord Jesus on Thursday, October 27, with her family around her. Lynda was the wife of Rev. Merlin Liverman, Associate pastor of Parkview Baptist Church. She gave her life to Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord at twelve years of age. God used her in many wonderful ways to serve Him by serving others during her life. She served faithfully as a pastor’s wife, as a mother and grandmother, as a registered nurse, and to the people in the churches where she was a member. She loved people and was an encourager to hundreds who met her and knew her during her lifetime.
Lynda is survived by her husband, Rev. Merlin Liverman; son, David Liverman; daughters, Debi Liverman, Donna Tucker and husband, Billy; three grandchildren, Andrew Liverman and wife, Kristina, Amber Jenkins, and Courtney Nolen; six great-grandchildren, Mason, Macie, Kacie, Maddie, Aliah, and Bryce.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 3, with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM at Parkview Baptist Church, 11795 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA 70816. Burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
