Luther Seals

Luther Leon Seals, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA went to be with the Lord at 8:30 AM, Saturday, April 29, 2017.

Luther was a graduate of Varnado High School and a World War II veteran (U.S. Navy). After the war he attended LSU and was a life-long Tiger fan. He worked for many years for Bechtel Engineering in Houston, TX, retiring in 1997.

Luther was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Leon Seal, Sr. and Bessie Mae Walker Seal; his brothers and sisters, Robert, Bernice, Homer, Ray, Velma, and Vanda; and his wife, Patricia Lou Hughes Seals.

He is survived by his children, Matthew Leon Seals and Trisha Lynn Seals; grandchildren Robert, Matthew, Michael, Rachel, Nicholas, and Leah; and great-grandchildren Lyla, Luke, Sage, and Cambrian.

Visitation will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, on May 5, 2017 from 9:00 AM until services at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
