Luther Jackson Jr.

Luther "Pat" Herman Jackson Jr., age 77, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017.

Pat was born on December 26,1939 in Shreveport, La. He served 4 years in the United States Navy and retired from El Dupont as a Welder/Welding Inspector.

Luther "Pat" Herman Jackson is survived by his wife Vada (Sullivan) Jackson; his son Luther "Pat" Herman Jackson III; his brother Charles Jackson (wife Linda Jackson); his grandchildren, Samantha (Jackson) Russell, Amanda Jackson and Caffre Jackson; his great granddaughter Isabella Russell; and his many, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Luther Herman Jackson Sr.; and his mother Mary Gaffney; and his sister Ann (Jackson) Dubose.

Visitation will be at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70816 on Saturday, February 25, 2017. Family visitation will be from 8:30 am - 9:30 am, followed by friends until 11:00 am. Service and Burial will follow.

Pallbearers will be Samantha (Jackson) Russell, Amanda Jackson, Caffre Jackson, Shane Jackson, Paul Daigrepont, Joe Melancon, Billy Shirley, and Eric Knapps.
