Gendron, granddaughter, Monica Gendron; sisters, Rosalie Bacas, Odette Simon, Rosemary Luquette, and Margaret "Gitsy" Hotard; and brothers, Bill, Gaston, Elmore, and Nolan Simon.
She is survived by her children, Leslie D. (Molly), James P. (Gayle), Karen G. Mayhall (Kim), Dean E. (Tammy), Libby G. Lucille loved gardening, dancing, and cooking French meals and desserts for her family. She was a devout Catholic, and instilled the importance of volunteering by her work at church, children's schools, and with various charities. She has left to her family a legacy of courage, compassion, and unconditional love. The grief felt in her passing is surpassed only by the gifts of grace, beauty, and joy she shared with all of those in her life. She lives forever in our hearts and in the beauty of every day.
Donations may be made to St. Joseph Hospice Carpenter House where Lucille was shown much kindness and compassion in her final days, or to your favorite charity.
