Louis "Lucky" Bardeau, 90, born in Ville Platte, LA. Resident of Zachary, LA for the past 23 years. Passed away peacefully with his family at his side. Louis served in the US Army during the Korean War. It is during his time on the front lines in Korea that he earned the name Lucky. He is survived by three daughters, Frankie L. Nolin, Stephanie Bardeau-Marse (Todd), Michelle Barton (Doug) Five grandchildren Christy (Charles) LeJuene, Jennifer Chauvin, Kelli Chauvin, Ferrin Barton (Taylor Harp), Bailey (Brittany) Barton. Ten great grandchildren Alexis and Blake LeJuene, Easton, Presley, Ryleigh Chauvin, Braelyn Bell, Bentleigh Barton, Lane Harp, Bryson and Beckham Barton. Also, survived by his only sibling, sister, Geraldine Lafluer, of Ville Platte. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy J. Bardeau, mother of his girls. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home on Monday, January 31, 2022 visiting will begin at 12 noon until services at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Pawpaw Lucky's name. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Bridgeway Hospice and to special family friend Mel Johnson Leblanc, for the wonderful care they gave our daddy.
