Louise Miller

Louise C. Miller, age 97, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2017.

She was born in Rayville, LA to Louis Lafell Carey and Katsey Sterling Carey. She graduated from Baton Rouge High and retired as an Insurance Auditor with the LA State Insurance Commission.

Louise was a loving mother and grandmother and is survived by her children, Jeanie Babin, Marie Galloway and Ronnie Miller and wife Susan; grandchildren, Ronnie Miller, Jr., Jennie Schexnayder, Andrew Darlington and wife Rhonda, Eric Fikes and wife Melissa, Shannon Galloway, Stephanie Marchand, Robert Miller and wife Peggy, Michael Miller and wife Torri; 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert R. Miller, Sr.; son, Herbert R. Miller, Jr.; daughter, Pamela Fikes; grandsons, Richard L. Miller and Christopher Fikes; and granddaughter, Jodie Miller.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on April 11, 2017 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Baton Rouge, LA.
