Louis Henry Uncle Henry Sentilles died on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. He was born on Feb. 17, 1929, in Plaquemine. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Agnes W. and Raoul Sentilles; two brothers, Robert and Russell Sentilles; a sister, Rita Sentilles Hebert; and a close friend of 50 years, Doug Tyler. He is survived by two sisters, Ivel M. Cangelosi and Carolyn S. Gang; as well as nieces and nephews, Joseph Cangelosi Jr., Rebecca Cangelosi, Vicki Cangelosi Machen, Gina Sentilles, Pat Hebert, Stan Hebert, Sophie Halverson and Nellie Marino. He is also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews including Robert Joseph Cangelosi, Sarah Cangelosi, Nicole Babin, Sage Halverson, Seth Halverson, Angela Marino, Regina Marino, Andrew Marino, Monique Marino; and a great-great-nephew, Daniel Cangelosi. Henry graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond with a degree in accounting and was the longtime owner of Sentilles Associates, an accounting and bookkeeping firm in Baton Rouge. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and also an avid LSU football fan win or lose. Henry was a dear, free spirit who enjoyed entertaining family and friends and working in his yard when his health permitted. A graveside service conducted by the Rev. Gerald Henry Burns of St. Aloysius Catholic Church will take place on Friday, Dec. 19, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Highway, at 1:30 p.m. Honorary pallbearers are Joseph Cangelosi Jr., Robert Joseph Cangelosi, Warren Hebert, Pat Hebert, Stan Hebert, Bill Cambre, Larry Paniuski and Mark Tyler. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Joseph Hospice Foundation, 8923 Bluebonnet Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70810.
