Louis Hebert

September 23, 1925 — November 2, 2014

Louis C. Hebert,
native of Abbeville, La and resident of Baton Rouge, La, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the age of 89.

Louis was a veteran of the US Army having served in WWII and Korean War. He was a retired US State Department Diplomatic Courier and a Foreign Service Officer. He traveled worldwide before moving to Baton Rouge in 2005.

Louis is survived by his sister, Gaynel Fleming and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Valerie Kovach Hebert parents, Adlar and Nedia Hebert two brothers, Eulton Woody Hebert and Dalton Hebert and two sisters, Audrey Hebert Navarre and Elvie Hebert Suire.

A memorial service will be held at St. James Place, 333 Lee Dr, on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11:00 am, with a reception to follow. Burial will follow at a later date in the Arlington National Cemetery in Washington DC.
