Louis “LK” Arbour, born on May 29, 1931, passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 92.
Louis was born in Baton Rouge, LA. He joined the United States Air Force and served in the Korean conflict. He then went on the become manager at IBM, in the computer science field. He enjoyed spending his time fishing, traveling, and woodworking.
Louis is survived by his wife of 15 years, Konita Arbour; daughter, Kathleen Lobell; step-daughter, Julie Manchester (Landis); step-son, Steven Berthelot (Emily); son-in-law, Dudley Guglielmo; grandchildren, Clifton Newman (Melody), Nicholas Denicola (Maddie), Megan Breaux (Isabel), Matthew Denicola, Braeden Manchester, and Daniel Manchester; and great-grandchildren, Magnus and Odin Newman, and Stevie Jane Denicola.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Norma Rae Carmena Arbour; second wife, Nona Arbour; parents, Jules E. Arbour, Jr. and Ida Arbour; and daughter, Karen Lynn Arbour.
Visitation will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home on Sunday, February 4, 2024, beginning at 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Monday, February 5, 2024, beginning at 9:00 AM until services at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
