A resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2007. Lorraine was born July 2, 1921, and was the daughter of the late John and May Florian. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Lorraine will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She served as a U.S. Navy nurse during World War II. It was during this period that she met and married her husband of 61 years, Carroll Lalumandier. She is survived by her husband, Carroll; daughter and husband, Sharon and Ken Belteau, of Kingwood, Texas; son and wife, Douglas and Faith Lalumandier, of Santa Rosa, Fla.; son, Hank Lalumandier, of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, Chad Belteau, of Los Angeles, Kevin Belteau, of Tampa, Fla., and Jocelyn Belteau, of Dallas; a great-grandchild, Alec Belteau, of Tampa; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Selig and Lucille Lalumandier; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Tuesday, Nov. 13, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation resumes Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 9 a.m. until service in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Phillip Yoho of Southside Baptist Church. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers will be Chad and Kevin Belteau, Eddie LeBlanc, Sal Franco, Mike Engle and Buck Kleinpeter. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie and Larry Lalumandier and Skipper and Jack Selig.
