Lindsay Seals

Lindsay Seals passed away on October 6, 2018, at the age of 83 years.

A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and former resident of Ventress, Louisiana, Lindsay was residing in Atlanta, Georgia with several of his children and grandchildren at the time of his death.

Lindsay served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1960, attended Louisiana State University, and was a graduate of Istrouma High School. He was a retired executive of United Companies Life Insurance Company, where he worked for the majority of his career. Prior to moving to Atlanta, Lindsay was a member of the Pointe Coupee Kiwanis Club in New Roads, Louisiana.

Lindsay is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Bonnie Seals, his brother, William Seals and his parents, Ernest and Laura (Lucille) Seals. He is survived by his children: Stephen and Romy Seals, Juli Achee, Kimberly Seals, Pamela and Steven Jeffords, as well as his grandchildren: Lindsay Anne Seals, Laura Achee, Kathleen Crump, Hannah Seals, Thomas Achee, Matthew Jeffords, Caroline Jeffords, and Ben Jeffords; and his brother: Ernest Seals.

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home (11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA). Funeral services will be Monday, October 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM, with visitation from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Resthaven.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Achee, Matthew Jeffords, Ben Jeffords, Randall Seals, Matthew Seals, and Travis Seals.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kiwanis Organization Children’s Fund or to the American Heart Association.
