Linda White Mitchell, 67, of Baton Rouge, passed away on June 26, 2016 in Prairieville, Louisiana.
Linda White Mitchell was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Harry Harold White and Emma Regina White on February 10, 1949.
She was a very loving wife, and caring mother who cherished her family very much! She enjoyed boating, living on the river, fishing and dancing. She attended Istrouma High School and worked for Capital Bank.
Linda White Mitchell is preceded in death by her husband, David Harry Mitchell; father, Harry Harold White; mother, Emma Regina White; and sister, Deborah Anne White.
Linda White Mitchell is survived by her two daughters, Beverly Lynn Lafleur and Stephanie (Kim) von Readen and husband, Brad von Readen; her son, David Harry Mitchell II and wife, Kimberly Smith Mitchell; her six grandchildren, Blake Mitchell Howze, Chase Mitchell Howze, Brittney Estrada Spera, Joshua Robert Estrada, Peyton Mitchell Grindstaff, and Mason David Mitchell; her sister, Janet White Larson of Jacksonville, Fla.; her brother and sister-in-law, Mark S. White and wife, Laura of Baton Rouge; her aunt and uncle, Betty and I.D. Easterly of Denham Springs; her two nephews; her niece; and her special friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Highway, from 2:00 PM until graveside services at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 in David and Linda Mitchell's names.
