A native of Hammond and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, she died peacefully at home on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at age 64. She was the beloved wife of Kelley James Adams, mother of Lori Adams Denstel, and grandmother of Linley Marie Denstel. Also survived by her mother, Frances Talia Ferrara sisters, Betty Vining and Judy Ferrara and a brother, Peter Ferrara Jr. Preceded in death by her father, Peter Ferrara Sr. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, on Friday, Feb. 10, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting at St. Patricks Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon Lane, Baton Rouge, on Saturday, Feb. 11, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Jerry Martin, celebrant. Interment at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She was a 30year employee of Capital One Bank, member of Baton Rouge Elks Lodge No. 490 and a longtime parishioner at St. Patricks Catholic Church. The family would like to thank all of her friends and relatives who supported and comforted her through her illness, especially her Capital One family, and the members and staff of St. Patricks Catholic Church.
