Lillie Matthews

A native of Franklin, La and a resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 11pm. She was 72 years old. Visiting will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Saturday, March 5th from 9am until service at 11am. Internment will be in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by her daughters, Gail Matthews Linda Lewis and husband, Edward Benita Matthews of Atlanta, GA and Joyce Matthews of New Orleans sons, Freddie Matthews Jr. Christopher Matthews and wife Donna and Kenneth Matthews Ardoin of Jeanerette, LA. sisters, Ollie Armelin of New Iberia Emmatine Francis and husband Sanders of Houston, TX brother, Clarence Johnson Jr. and wife Sheila of New Iberia eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Clarence Sr. and Annie Johnson and a brother Stanley Johnson Sr.
