Lillie Manning Gautreaux

Lillie Manning Gautreaux, age 92, who was a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on January 26, 2015.

She is survived by her daughter Kaye Walock and her husband Monty; grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Milliner, Brandon Walock and wife Jessica, Andrew Walock and wife De'Anne, and Austin Walock; great-grandchildren, Lillian and Easton Walock; sisters, Ruby Sharon, and Dorothy Chenier and her husband Gene; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lillie is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Darnel Gautreaux; infant son, Daniel Gautreaux; parents, George and Daisy Manning; sisters, Katherine Swearingen, Hazel Stuckey and Ruth Dykes; brothers, George Manning, Jr., and Donald Manning; nephew, Wayne Swearingen.

The family would like to thank the staff of Lake Sherwood Village and Nursing Care Connections for their loving care and support. Also, the family would like to give a special thanks to Ralinda Maddie.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Visiting hours will resume on Thursday, January 29, 2015, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Ave, from 9:00 AM until time of services.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church.

Interment will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
