Born June 26, 1917, in Columbia, Miss., and a resident of Baton Rouge, she went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 13, 2010. She is survived by two daughters and a soninlaw, Barbara and David Brisbane, of Bindoon, Australia, and Anita Dolly Cupit, of Baton Rouge a son and daughterinlaw, Joseph Patrick and Elizabeth Lambert, of Brusly a sister, Hilda Ballard, of Hot Springs, Ark. grandson, Bob Brisbane and his wife, Dawn granddaughter, Amy Phillips and her husband, Keith grandson, Kevin Cupit and his wife, Marcie granddaughter, Paige Poray and her husband, Michael and stepgrandson, Michael Diamond and his wife, Shannon. She is also survived by nine greatgrandchildren, Jessica and Lauren Brisbane, Emily and Trevor Cupit, Carter, Caroline and Casyn Phillips, and Charlie and Jack Poray and two stepgreatgrandchildren, Patrick and Thomas Diamond. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Z. Lambert parents, Joseph and Delia Bryant seven of her brothers and sisters a soninlaw, Robert Wayne Cupit and a grandson, Jim Brisbane. Pallbearers will be David Brisbane, Kevin Cupit, Keith Phillips, Fred Lambert Jr., Phillip Belone and Bennett Humphries. Honorary pallbearers are Bob Brisbane, Don Ballard, Bill Parks, Thurston Brice, Larry Sullivan and Michael Diamond. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Friday, July 16, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home Saturday, July 17, from noon until funeral service at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Joey Beeson, Dr. Dennis Johnsey and Dr. Randy Johnson. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Childrens Home or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital .
