Lessie Profit-Washington

PROFITWASHINGTON Lessie Marie ProfitWashington was born to the union of the late Dennis Jones, Sr. and Louise D. Marcell. She was united in holy wedlock to the late Eric Washington on April 29, 2006. Lessie Marie received Christ at an early age. She was baptized at the Prayer Tower Church of God in Christ. She was a member of Walking in Victory Full Gospel Ministry, New Orleans, LA. Lessie Marie departed this life on February 10, 2012 in the arms of her beloved children. Lessie Marie was preceded in death by Eric Washington her husband, her parents: Dennis Jones Sr., Louise D. Marcell and James C. Washington Sr., and her fatherinlaw. Those left with the eternal memories of her love and devotion are: June Washington, her motherinlaw 4 children: Tawanda ProfitCushenberry, Kishawan ProfitLewis, Eddie Profit and Corey Profit of Washington, DC. 2 sonsinlaw: Eric Cushenberry and Devin Lewis 2 daughtersinlaw: Danielle and Laura 3 brothers: Dennis, Oscar, and Lee Andrew of New Orleans, LA: 2 sisters: Florastine LongsSmith of Plaquemine, LA and Betty Stanley: brothers and sistesrinlaw: Nicholas Smith, Ronnie Stanley, Gerald Washington of Oakland, CA, Darrel Washington, Sr., James Washington, Jr., Kirk Washington, Sr., Wanda Jones, Synthear Longs, Zandra Washington of Hayward, CA, and Glenda Washington, 10 grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Visitation was held on Saturday February 18, 2010 from 1 pm until service at 2 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home.
