Leslie Amond

Leslie James Amond, 70, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2013. A native of Baton Rouge, LA and a resident of Homer, LA. Leslies hobbies consisted of hunting and fishing during his spare time. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sheila Amond daughters, Jammy Efferson and husband Todd, and Cristy Sumrall and husband Jewell son, Jason Amond grandchildren, Erica Efferson, Lauren Efferson, Julia Sumrall and Joey Sumrall honorary granddaughter, Olivia and brother, Wayne Amond. Preceded in death by his parents, Dolzy J. Amond and Matilda Amond and sister, Carol Ann Shelton. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Saturday November 23, 2013 from 12 noon until funeral service at 2 pm. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
