Leo B. Hanna, 95, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at. He was born in Acy, LA and a resident of Pierre Part, LA. Leo proudly served in WWII and the U.S. Coast Guard. He later retired from Exxon, where he worked in the lavatory unit. Leo was an avid lover of wildlife and nature.
He is survived by his loving companion of 22 years, Mary E. Sinclair son, David Reed Hanna and wife Candy and two grandsons, Daniel and Darryl Hanna.
Preceded in death by his parents, William and Pearl Hanna wife, Avis McAllister Hanna son, Richard Hanna brothers, Benny and Earl Hanna and sisters, Eckie, Velma and Jimmie Hanna and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Monday, June 9, 2014 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Visiting will resume on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 12 noon until funeral service. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Simoneaux, Dustin May, Roddie Peeples, Earl May, Bob Cain and David.
