A devoted husband, father and grandfather, he passed away Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010, in his home with his loving wife, Judy, by his side. He was 65, born Sept. 29, 1944, in Century, Fla., and grew up in Milton, Fla. Survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Judy Nettles Harry sons and daughtersinlaw, Mark and Melina Harry and Todd and Marcia Harry and the joys of his life, grandchildren Chandler and Olivia Harry and Sofia and Claudia Harry two sisters, Sue Becker and Pat Bodie several brothers and sistersinlaw and many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father and mother, Lee Roy Harry Sr. and Lurine Worley Harry. He worked for many years in the industrial cleaning sales field and had a passion for coaching youth baseball. He was a role model and touched many young mens lives as their coach, friend and mentor. He loved LSU football, golf and his family. He was a member of the Masons. He never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew him. A celebration of his life will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Wednesday, Aug. 18, with friends visiting from 1 p.m. until service at 2 p.m., officiated by Byron Townsend of Crosspoint Baptist Church.
