Laura Ann Erato,
resident of Baton Rouge and native of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the age of 44. Laura was an LSU graduate. She was an elementary school teacher for Twin Oaks Elementary. She loved teaching. Laura was a loving and was an extremely devoted teacher to students with special needs. She was a kind and caring daughter, mother, sister, and aunt. She will be missed by everyone who knew her kind and endearing spirit.
Laura is survived by her son, Alexander Charles Kaiser father, Edward A. Chaperon and wife Claudia mother, Katherine Chaperon and husband David OBrien sister, Carolyn Chaperon and nephew, Kalan Dean Chaperon McKinley. Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Erato.
Visiting hours will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 9:00 am until service time. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, conducted by Father Phil Spano. A private inurnment to follow on Monday, June 9, 2014 in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
