A resident and native of Baton Rouge, he died Monday, April 5, 2010, at age 41. Visiting at St. George Catholic Church on Thursday, April 8, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. He is survived by his mother, Virginia Ginger Simon maternal grandmother, Angie Polito two sons, Trey Simon III and Ryan Simon a brother, Stephen Stevie Simon and wife Missy and two nephews, Anthony and Stevie Simon. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry S. Simon maternal grandfather, Steve Polito paternal grandparents, Hovey and Jean Simon and uncles, Ronnie Polito and Randy Simon. Pallbearers are Dewayne Mixon, Johnny Long, Troy Archer, Tommy Christian, Alex Cothell and Stevie Simon. Honorary pallbearers are John Ray Lewis, Ronnie Payne, Dean Crawford, Trey Holcomb, Craig Lyons, Brian Clouatre and Tony Gilbeaux. He was a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond and an avid LSU fan. He was a wonderful father, son, brother, uncle and friend. DadUncle Larry: We love you so much We will miss you every day, but especially during our memorable summer vacations which seem to always bring lots of drama and lots of fun memories. The beaches will never be the same but we will celebrate them each and every year in your memory. Love Trey, Ryan, Mom, Stevie, Anthony, Little Stevie and Missy.
