Larry Mounce

Larry Mounce passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at the age of 52. He retired from the Baton Rouge Fire Department, after 31 years of service, as a Deputy Chief over the Hazardous Materials Division. Larry was a loving and caring husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Belinda daughter, Rachel Grace sons, Jason Kyle, Joshua Chase, and Jonathan Taylor mother, Annette brother, Barry and wife Kim, niece, Brooke nephews, Michael, Blake, and Jarod Hopper and other close relatives, Sue Hopper, Jeff Hopper and wife Regina, and Henry Hopper. Larry is preceded in death by his father, Howard Mounce.

Visiting will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Friday, November 21, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visiting will resume on Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 9:00 am until service time. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am. Interment to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
