Larry Mcgee

Larry Lynn McGee, 78 of Clinton, LA, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2021 at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph’s Hospice in Baton Rouge. He was born in Monroe, LA on April 25, 1943.

Graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1962, worked at Allied Chemical 10 years and 29 years at Shell Chemical (Geismar Plant) until retirement in 2004, an avid sports fan, and member of Olive Branch Baptist Fellowship.

Larry is survived by his wife of 35 years, Margaret, his son Chad McGee (Gusti), step-son Earl McGee (Toni), two step-daughters Cindy Abed (Mike) and Sherry Mullins (Aaron), step-son Greg Bourgeois (Gabby), two sisters Linda McLellan (Richard) and Marsha Hebert (David), 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents Philip and Elvie McGee, brother Roy and daughter Lea Ann.

Visitation will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 12:30 PM until the service at 2:30 PM. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
