L. Kenneth Krogstad

L. Kenneth Krogstad, age 69, who was a native of Huntington Park, Ca and resident of Baton Rouge, La passed away on April 3, 2015 at the Carpenter House.

Kenneth attended the University of Mississippi and received a B.S. in Business Administration and a Juris Doctorate. He enjoyed fishing, boating, sailing, and spending time with family. He was an active church member and former senior warden at St. Margaret's. He was an avid sports enthusiast and football player at UCLA. He was devoted and hard working throughout his career and thrived on watching his coworkers succeed. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and son.

He is survived by his wife, Alma Lynne Krogstad; his children; Kristin Krogstad Tompkins (Brent), Kenneth Benjamin Krogstad ( Suzanne), Sarah Lanell Krogstad(John); two granddaughters Merritt Patricia and Sophie JuliaTompkins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Lanell Krogstad.
The family request that visiting be observed on Monday, April 6, 2015 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visiting hours will resume on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, 12663 Perkins Road from 12:00 PM until time of service.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church. Officiant will be Father Patrick Edwards.

Pallbearers will be Brent Tompkins, Joe Bonsignore, Chard Richard, Eric Pearson, Allen Purshell, Jim Keith, Charlie Dupuy, and John Cox.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Margaret's Episcopal Church Interment garden fund or the American Cancer Society.
