Larry Bourg

Larry Joseph Bourg, Jr., a resident of Denham Springs, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015. He was born on December 22, 1963, in White Castle, LA.

Larry was a graduate of Brusly High School where he was a member of the school's football team. He was also a graduate of University of Louisiana Monroe where he continued to play football. Larry was employed at Bayou Fabrication in Plaquemine. He was a very quiet, reserved man who was always willing to help others.

Larry will be sadly missed by his wife Lisa M. "Shelly" Bourg; son, Hunter Bourg; daughter, Rachel Miracle; grandchildren, Damian and Abby Miracle; parents, Larry Sr. and Rumiko "Kim" Bourg; sister, Nancy Bourg; and brother, Lawrence Bourg.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Woodlawn Baptist Church, 5805 Jones Creek Rd, Baton Rouge, from 6:00 PM until memorial services at 7:00 PM, led by Pastor Lewis Richerson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woodlawn Baptist Church in Larry's memory.
