A retired field superintendant for Harmony Construction and a resident of Livingston, he died Thursday, March 22, 2012, at his home. He was 56 and a native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home on Sunday, March 25, 2012, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Monday, March 26, from 8:30 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by Rev. Trey Cowell. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his father, Arthur B. Bellum two halfbrothers, Jerry Oliphant and Jim Zeigler and aunt, Bernice B. Lammert. Preceded in death by his mother, Myrtis Bellum. He faithfully attended Faith Baptist Church of Livingston
