Lani Amanda Bewley was born in Baton Rouge on Nov. 6, 1987. She passed from this earthly world Friday, June 4, 2010, at age 22. It was Lanis wish that she be cremated and there was no embalming or public viewing held. There will be a memorial service and celebration of her life at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 26, at the Unitarian Church of Baton Rouge, 8470 Goodwood Blvd. Lani was a beautiful, intelligent person, a very special friend and dearly loved by her family. She graduated with honors from Baton Rouge Magnet High in 2005, and achieved two undergraduate degrees from LSU one in Latin in December 2009 and the other in German in May 2010.
