Lance Ramon Brignac, born on October 5, 1960, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on May 16, 2017.
He is survived by his loving wife Julie Counce Brignac, his two sons, Nicholas Windom Brignac and Christopher Daniel Brignac, his mother Patricia Lambert Brignac, three brothers and sisters-in-law Michael Brignac (Shauna), Malcolm Brignac (Laura), Len Brignac (Jennifer), and a sister Patricia Brignac Talbot. His nieces and nephews, Justin Moe, Bryan Brignac, Rebecca Brignac, Ben Brignac, Timothy Brignac, Daniel Brignac, Addison Talbot, and Amelia Talbot.
He was preceded in death by his father Windom R. Brignac; his grandparents, Valentine Brignac and Marie Agnes Brignac, Dave Lambert and Aline Broussard Lambert.
Lance was a proud graduate of Catholic High School and Louisiana State University. Lance worked for 28 years at Jacobs Engineering in numerous positions. He loved LSU football and baseball, and was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time at his camp on False River ("Got One!") and cooking for family and friends, as long as the beer was cold.
Visitation will be at noon on Friday, May 19th at St. George Catholic Church until Mass of Christian Burial at 2 pm celebrated by Fr. Paul Counce. Burial at St. George Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be his lifelong friends Flint Virgets, Will Pecue, Eric Balkom, Eddie Lamy, Mike Barber, and his Godchild, Bryan Brignac.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. George Catholic Church, St. Joseph's Academy (Sr. Adele Lambert Scholarship), or St. Joseph Cathedral.
