Dr. Kyle Ronald Kennedy, was born on November 18, 1943, and passed away February 27, 2021. He attended LSU, graduated from Loyola University School of Dentistry. He practiced dentistry in Baton Rouge, Louisiana from 1970 to 2013.
Ronnie was a member of the 6th District Dental Association, and 6th District Peer Review Committee, Louisiana Dental Association, and American Dental Association. He was also Commissioner at the Louisiana War Memorial Museum.
Ronnie enjoyed scuba diving, growing orchids, and working in his wood shop. He will be remembered for taking 30 years to build a replica of the Battleship USS Louisiana.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Williams Kennedy, his daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Norbert Courville, his grandchild, AnnaClaire Courville, and his brother, Larry Keith Kennedy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Kyle and Inez Kennedy.
Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, from 5:00 PM until a prayer service at 7:00 PM. A private burial will be held at a later date.
