Kristi Lirette

Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show which path to take."

Kristi Lynn Lirette went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 4, 2016, at the age of 23.

Kristi was a free spirited, fearless, adventurous young lady who absolutely lived life to the fullest. Her uniqueness was undeniable. She loved listening to music, hanging out at the beach with family and friends, shopping, her Maw Maw's little peas and bouille pies. She never went anywhere without her adorable little dog Molly.

She was born and lived most of her life in Baton Rouge, but spent time in Dallas, San Diego, and New Orleans. Her strength, and determination was as big as her contagious smile and she was always the center of attention. She would want us all to celebrate her and not mourn. She hated sadness and tears.

"Kristibug" will be missed but her spirit will live on in all those she ever touched.

She is survived by her parents, Brett Lirette and Diana King; step-parents, Krissy Lirette and Michael King; brother, Phillip Lirette and his girlfriend Brooke Meyer; sister, Elena Mizell; step-siblings, Adrionne, Brooks, and Cadie Kusy, Kady and Kyle King, and Shannon Achord; grandmothers, Norma Durham and Brenda Lirette; Godmother, Tiffany Bonvillain and husband Gary; Godfather, Todd Durham and wife Robin; aunt, Bridgette Forstall and husband Trey; uncle, Seve Lirette; and her pet/child, Molly Claire.

Kristi was preceded in death by her grandfathers, William Durham and Sam Lirette; and uncle, Jody Lirette.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, May 8, 2016, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Visiting hours will continue on Monday, May 9, 2016, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home, from 10:00 am until services at 11:00 am, officiated by Pastor David Ray.
