Kristi Delaney

Kristi Delaney, native of Baton Rouge and resident of Denham Springs, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the age of 28. A loving mother, daughter, granddaughter, and friend, Kristi loved life and adored spending time with her family and friends. She was an amazing mother who enjoyed movies, LSU football, shopping with her mom, and boiling crawfish. Kristi was a Billing Specialist for Performance Contractors for the last 7 years. She is survived by her precious girls, Gracie Paige Long and her dad, Jeremie Long and Braelyn Hope Delaney and her dad, Shawn Delaney mother, Kim Hughes and her beloved David Hadskey father and stepmother, John and Lisa Austin sister, Jessica Dawson and husband Jim stepbrothers, Brian Reeves and Eric Chavers maternal grandparents, Richard and Elaine Hughes aunt and uncle, Cyndi and Kerry Hughes niece and nephew, Abbey and Brady Dawson three cousins, Nicole Marie Joles and husband Joey, Sheri Anne Ammons and husband Blake, and Laurie Katherine Hughes second cousins, Addison Ammons, Zachary Joles, Dylan Joles, and Jolie Joles and numerous friends and family. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents her uncle, Keith Hughes and stepsister, Lacey Reeves. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 from 5 pm until 8 pm and will resume on Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 8 am until funeral service at 9:30 am, officiated by Rev. Jerry Martin. Pallbearers will be Blake Ammons, Joey Joles, David Boyd, Randy Mercantes, Ryan Ramagos, Hamed Ghassemi, and Jim Dawson.
