Kohen Dallas-Ryan Kleinpeter "KoKo", passed away, Saturday, February 28, 2015, at the age of 6.
KoKo was born March 20, 2008 to Ryan and Holly Mattson Kleinpeter. He attended Spanish Lake Primary School in Geismar and Bellingrath Hills Elementary in Central. KoKo was a fun and loving child who was always smiling, loving life, and he was the sweetest little boy in the world.
KoKo is survived by his parents, Ryan Kleinpeter and Holly Mattson Kleinpeter; sister, Karsyn Shaye Kleinpeter; maternal grandparents, Kris Pruitt Langlois and Robert and his wife, Lynne Mattson; paternal grandparents, Belle Borskey and her husband, Tommy Gason, and Greg Kleinpeter and his wife, Alecia; uncles, Joshua P. Mattson and Brandon G. Kleinpeter; aunts, Lindsay Mattson, Amy M. Dykes, Shawn K. Kazmir and her, husband Kenny, Brea R. Kleinpeter; cousins, Kalyn, Cody, Emily, Samantha, Zachary, Eric, Abbey and Roman; maternal great-grandparents, Dallas and Mary Pruitt and Albert, and Patricia Mattson; and numerous extended family and friends.
KoKo is preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Shurman and Myrtle Borskey, and Leo "Jerry" and Barbara Kleinpeter; great-aunt, Kahne Titone; and great great-grandmother, Emily Rogers.
The family request that visiting hours be observed on Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visiting hours will resume on Friday, March 6, 2015, from 1:00 PM until time of services.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM on Friday, March 6, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Funeral Home.
Interment will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Josh Mattson, Jeffrey Mitchell, Wesley Cutrer, Eaan Green, Brandon Kleinpeter, and Allen Arceneaux.
