Kirk Anthony David of Baton Rouge died on January 12, 2017. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on November 7, 1963 to Dorothy and Normand David. He was a graduate of De La Salle High School and Louisiana Tech University. He was an environmental professional and loved to cook, and spend time hunting, fishing and camping. His favorite thing was teaching his boys and all his adopted children about nature and cooking. He loved cooking and sharing with everyone--from the grocery store, the bank, the pharmacy, and neighbors-if he couldn't feed you he sent you pictures of the food. Kirk never met a stranger and would often pick up people on the side of the road, feed them, and give them a lift. He loved his wife and sons and was happiest when he was with them. He is survived by his parents, wife of 27 years, Missy, sons Eric and Michael, sister Karen, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and his faithful companion Chica.
