Kimberly Stagg

Our beloved daughter, Kimberly Stagg, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011. She was 19, born Oct. 8, 1991. She attended Dutchtown High School and graduated from Alternative Academics Academy in 2010. She was a valued employee of Franks Restaurant on Airline Highway in Prairieville. She loved animals, especially her dog, Mikey, and will be forever missed by her friends and family. She was the youngest daughter of four children and hoped to one day own an animal rescue center. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Hilary H. Stagg and Kenneth Buhler and uncles, Paul Baronne and Hilary H. Stagg Jr. Survived by her parents, Kenneth W. Stagg and Karen Buhler Stagg, of Prairieville three siblings, Katelin Stagg, Kenneth Hilary Stagg and Kristopher Stagg grandmothers, Mrs. Marie Stagg and Mrs. Winnie Buhler McLaughlin and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers will be Kenneth and Kristopher Stagg, Jon Coney, Adam Martin, Ross Dedman and John ONeill. Visitation at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Wednesday, March 16, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Prairieville, on Thursday, March 17, from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park, Baton Rouge.
