Kenneth Smiley

A loving son, husband, father, uncle, grandfather and friend. Kenneth John Smiley, 51, born on October 26, 1962, passed away on December 25, 2013 Christmas morning at his residence. He was a graduate of Redemptorist High School, resident of Baton Rouge, and a retired worker of the city. He was a donor and an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his loving wife, Bettie Byrd Smiley son, Ronald Smiley and grandson, Sebastian Smiley daughter, Elizabeth Smiley parents, Julie and John Landry and Kenneth Wayne and Rita Smiley and extended family. Preceded in death by his sister, Sherri Smiley LeBlanc maternal grandparents, Leslie Joseph and Roline Madere Holmes and paternal grandparents, Milton and Verna B. Smiley. A visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 1 pm until memorial service at 3 pm.
