Kelly Stokley

Proverbs 31:30-31 “Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her the product of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates.”

Kelly Erwin Stokley, age 53, resident of Prairieville, Louisiana, passed into the arms of Jesus Sept. 2, 2021. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, nurse, and friend to all who knew her. She was married to the love of her life, Greg, for 25 years. Kelly was a degreed registered nurse working in Home Health for 25+ years. She loved serving people.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her husband, Greg Stokley; daughter, Gabrielle Leigh; son, Brandon James; parents, Armand and Tug Erwin; brother, Armand Erwin, Jr. (Christine); mother-in-law, Marlene Stokley, Michelle Miller (Mark); nieces, Kaylyn, Katherine Erwin, and Stephanie Zickau (Wes), and Evangeline Miller; nephews, Caleb, Elijah and Zechariah Erwin, Raven Stokley; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Milton Stokley; maternal grandparents, Joe and Marian Zachary; and paternal grandparents, Victor and Helen Erwin.

Pall bearers will be Brandon Stokley, Aiden Wascom, Armand Erwin, Jr., Caleb Erwin, Rhett Brown, and Victor Erwin.

A Memorial and Celebration of Life service will be held at Woodlawn Baptist Church, 5805 Jones Creek Road, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on September 13, 2021, led by Dr. Tommy Middleton and Rev. Laramie Minga. Visitation will be held from 8:00 AM until services at 9:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be given to St. Jude Hospital.
