Kelly Parrino

Kelly R. Parrino, 89, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013. Native of Independence, LA and resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Kelly was a loving husband, father, and friend to many. He was a United States Army Veteran of WWII. Kelly spent much of his life as a contractor and entrepreneur. He owned KR Parrino Builder for twenty years and coowned Parrino Enterprises for ten years. His career was also a passion of his. He was a longtime member of the Baton Rouge Carpenters Local Union 1098. Kelly is survived by his son, Anthony Bert Parrino. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lura Higginbotham Parrino parents, Ben and Rosa Parrino and sisters, Annie Parrino Whittle and Virginia Parrino Portera. Visitation will be Friday, June 28, 2013 at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA 70816, from 10 am until the funeral service at 12 noon.
