Karl P. Landry, Jr., a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. He graduated from Istrouma High School and attended Riverside Military Academy. He also graduated from LSU. He retired from Copolymer Rubber and Chemical Plant in 1997 with 44 years of service.
Karl is survived by his children, Karl Landry III and wife Connie, Lisa Rambin and husband Gus, Karen Robert and husband Mark; his sisters, Beryl Escarra and Patty Jo Roubique; his brothers, John R. Landry, Gaynell Landry and wife Kaye, and Don Landry and wife Aline; his grandchildren, Lindsey Breal and husband Derek, Chris Robert and wife Jeanie, Brennan Williams and husband Ryan, Lauren Landry, and Kelly Duvall and husband John; four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved friend and companion Beverly Depp.
He is preceded in death by his first love and wife of 45 years, Marlene Couvillion Landry; his parents, Karl P. Landry Sr. and Isabel Summers Landry; and his sister, Shirley B. Thompson.
Visitation will be held at St. George Catholic Church Chapel, 7808 St. George Drive, Baton Rouge LA, on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 10:30 am until Mass at 12:30 pm. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
Pallbearers will be Mark Robert, Gus Rambin, Chris Robert, Brennan Williams, Derek Breal, and John Duvall.
