Karen Mayeux

Karen Conn Mayeux
passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at the age of 56. She was a resident of Zachary, LA for 16 years and a native of Salt Lake City, UT. Beloved wife to Michael Mayeux and daughter of Gus and Bobbie Conn.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Mayeux son, Daniel Stroud father, Gus Conn and brothers, Steve and Mark Conn. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bobbie Conn.

Karen graduated from LSU in Criminal Justice. She retired as Lieutenant Sherriff Deputy with EBR Sherriffs office.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Monday, September 8, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 10:00 am until service time, conducted by Father Jeff Bayhi. Pallbearers will be Michael Mayeux, Daniel Stroud, Mark Conn, Charlie Stroud, David Mayeux, and Charlie Alleman. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
