Kan Lew

Kan Pui Lew, born in Sun Wai, China, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away peacefully on Saturday,
September 13, 2014 at the age of 95.

She is survived by her sons, Nelson and Russell daughters, Sau Mi and Fiona soninlaw, Richard daughters inlaw, Tammy and Letty grandsons, Kelly, Monty, Channing, Chester and Dennis granddaughters, Leslie, Benita and Janice grandsoninlaw, Rond granddaughtersinlaw, Tamara ,Heather, and Joyce great grandsons, Ty, Trenton and Connor greatgranddaughters, Lauren and Kourtney.

A dedicated homemaker until age 50, and after moving to the US in 1969, she helped her husband and son ran the family business of China Express Restaurant in Baton Rouge. She is most remembered by her selfless devotion to family, her generosity to others, her love of knowledge and life, and her creative talents in sewing, gardening and cooking.

Visitation will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70816 on
Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 11 am. until service time at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow in Resthaven
Gardens of Memory.
