A retired employee of Premier Bank and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died at 10 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Golden Age Nursing Home. He was 80, a U.S. Navy veteran and a native of Byram, Miss. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 7, from 8:30 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Milford Walters. Burial of cremains to follow. Survived by two daughters, Linda Ball and husband Steve, and Patrice Dufour and husband Gerald; a son, Ronald Ronnie Renaud and wife JoAnn; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Rena Renaud; wife of 55 years, Rose Smith Renaud; son, Donald Don Renaud; grandson, Mark Stuckey; and sister, Marie Renaud. He had a passion for aviation, especially piloting small aircraft and traveling. He was also a ham radio operator.
