Julia "Judy" Parro

Julia “Judy” Parro passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at the age of 85. She was born on January 12, 1939, in Longview, Texas to Hazel and Klein McGhee.

Judy was a devoted wife and mother who loved spending time with her family. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children, Linda Stain and husband David, Dolph Parro and wife Mar’Sue, and Dana Macke and husband Loren; grandchildren, Cheney Stain and wife Alicia, Drew Joseph Stain and wife Lauren, Amanda Beck and husband Trey, Eric Parro, Peyton Byrd and husband Jonathan; and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her spouse, AJ Parro of 63 years.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Ave., in Baton Rouge on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, from 9:00 A.M. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M.
