Psalm 18:2 A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, and a resident of Central, she departed for her heavenly home at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, at Grace Nursing Home. She was 83 years old. She is survived by sons, R. Lamar Thompson Jr. and wife Sheryl and Larry D. Thompson and wife LeeAnn daughter, Velva Sicard and husband Skipper and daughterinlaw, Kristy Bruggers Thompson 11 grandchildren, nine greatgrandchildren brothers, Clem Pearson Jr., Charles Pearson and John Pearson sisters, Fabian Daigle, Birdie Wilson, Sandra Zachary, and Darlene Tolar and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her loving husband, R. Lamar Thompson Sr. son, Bilbo Thompson parents, Clem and Vivian Pearson sisters, Lavenia Caston, Margaret Stevenson, Patsy Ford and Norma Ortlieb. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Friday, March 2, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Michael DeJohn, Dr. Charles Thompson and the staff at Grace Nursing Home.
