Joyce Drago

Joyce Drago passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 77. She was a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and resident of Prairieville, Louisiana. She is survived by her loving husband William P. Drago III son, Steve and his wife, Donna Drago daughters, Dawn Drago and Todd Parker, and Rachel Drago Wall and husband Rick Wall grandchildren, Brandon Drago and wife Nina Drago, Travis Drago and wife Brittanie Drago, Cody Drago and fianc Amanda Carter and greatgrandchildren, Gage Drago and Sofia Drago sister, Phine Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Ann Dipuma, and sister Mildred Powell. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Regional Hospice and Palliative ServicesSouthwest, and especially to her nurse Laurie Mumphrey. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at St. George Catholic Church from 10:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30. Interment to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers will be Steve Drago, Brandon Drago, Travis Drago, Cody Drago, Rick Wall, and Todd Parker. Honorary pallbearers will be David Barbay and Tommy Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Academy, 3015 Broussard St., Baton Rouge, LA 70808.
