Joseph "Joe" Harold Wiltz, age 78, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on, Monday, June 25, 2018.
Joe graduated from Melville High School and then attended LSU. He was a Baton Rouge Police Officer for 30 years, and worked for the United States Marshall's Office for 10 years.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Wiltz; son, Joey Wiltz; daughters, Jeanne Licatino and husband Larry, Jackie Wiltz and husband David, Holly Barnes and husband Jeremy; brother, Jerry Wiltz; stepchildren, Ky Dunn, Melisha Dooley and husband Jamie, Brad Frans and wife Dana, and Bart Frans; niece, Debbie Bennett; 15 grandchildren with 1 on the way; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Amilcar "Mick" and Domatile S. Wiltz; his sister, Velma Dziuba; brother, Floyd Wiltz.
Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm with Rosary beginning at 7:30pm. Visitation will resume on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church, 16166 S Harrells Ferry Rd, Baton Rouge, LA from 10:00 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
Pallbearers will be; Ky Dunn, Chris Bennett, Brad Frans, Larry Licatino, David Wiltz, and Mick Wiltz.
