A resident of Baton Rouge and retired from Boilermakers Local 278, he died at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011. He was 65, a native of Albany and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Saturday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m. until a religious service in the chapel at noon, conducted by the Rev. Mike Collins. Entombment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory Mausoleum. Survived by his wife, Gloria H. Nemeth daughter, Kimberly PerezSandi and husband Manny son, Brandon Nemeth stepson, Mark Mains and wife Lynne two brothers, Johnny Van Johnson and Carl Johnson and 11 grandchildren, Morgan Mains, Connor Mains, Parker Mains, Kyle Nemeth, Caden Nemeth, Kyle PerezSandi, Tori PerezSandi, Brittney PerezSandi, Ali Ackoury, Ella Grace Ackoury and Finlee Ackoury. Preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Johnny Boy and Margie Johnson and sister, Charlotte Johnson. He was an active member of Most Blessed Sacrament Mens Club and Milford Masonic Lodge 117.
