Joseph Johnson

Joseph Warren Johnson, 84, a resident of Albany, LA, passed away on May 6th, 2017.

Joseph was born October 26th, 1932. He is a Navy Veteran whom worked aboard an aircraft carrier. He worked for Department of Transportation as a highway worker and worked for Winn Dixie warehouse as a forklift operator.

Joseph is survived by his son, Joseph Raymond Johnson; daughter, Yolanda Demesia and husband Edward Demesia. Grandchildren, Belinda Moon, Crystal Glass, Tiffany Green, Rocky Glass, Karin Johnson, Roman Johnson, and Amanda Demesia. He had 8 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Johnson; mother Lillys Johnson; and father, Oran Johnson.

Visiting Hours for the family will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA, on May 13th at 9:00 am. Regular visitation will start at 10:00 am until funeral services at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Pallbearers will be Adam Green, Rocky Glass Jr., Branden Brookens, Edward Demesia, Roman Johsnon, and Karl Pennino.
