Joseph Hollingsworth

Joseph Hollingsworth of Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away on Jan 30, 2023. Phil was born on January 30, 1948 in Ringgold, LA. He died at home on his 75th birthday and is now back in the loving arms of his wife, Rachel. Phil was a successful businessman and was a co-owner of Crawler Supply Co. and owner of Phil Hollingsworth Equipment Sales. He loved animals and fast cars. Phil is survived by his sister, Ann Hollingsworth Rozier; brother, John Thomas Hollingsworth; daughters, Jami Hollingsworth Redmond (Coy Redmond) and Elizabeth Dawn Hollingsworth; grandchildren: Cash Coy Redmond, Christopher Blake Edelmann (Laura Edelmann), and Christyn Edelmann; and great-granddaughter, Catalina. He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Rachel DeBlieux Hollingsworth, father, Spencer Scott Hollingsworth Sr.; mother, Pauline Cooper Hollingsworth; brother, Spencer Scott Hollingsworth Jr.; and sisters Jane Hollingsworth Neuman and JoAnn Moore Cashio. In lieu of flowers, please donate to MD Anderson Cancer Center or any local animal charity. A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday, February 3, 2023, at Resthaven Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2 PM on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Resthaven Funeral Home with interment to follow at Resthaven Garden of Memories.
